Cyber Hygiene Campaign – KODE Project
Empowering the Next Generation through Cyber Hygiene Education
Between June and December 2024, AMC Marketing, in collaboration with Next Gen Network, implemented a nationwide Cyber Hygiene awareness campaign across Kosovo. As part of the KODE project led by the Ministry of Economy and supported by the World Bank, the initiative aimed to improve digital literacy and promote safe online behavior among youth.
Challenge Despite increased access to digital devices, students lacked awareness of online risks such as phishing, data theft, and privacy violations (as highlighted on page 4). The challenge was to educate a wide age group (7–17 years old) in an engaging, practical, and scalable way, while addressing concerns from schools, teachers, and parents.
Approach AMC Marketing delivered a comprehensive, education-driven ecosystem, combining:
241 interactive school sessions across 30 municipalities A custom-developed curriculum blending theory and hands-on demonstrations Educational animation videos to simplify complex concepts An interactive digital platform (cyber.kren-ks.eu) with quizzes and games A Cyber Hygiene Manual with practical safety guidelines 13,500+ awareness materials, including QR-based school installations Website redesign (kodeproject.org) to enhance accessibility and engagement
Results The campaign delivered strong nationwide reach and measurable educational impact:
10,934 students reached across 241 schools Coverage in 30 municipalities 13,500+ awareness materials distributed 2 digital platforms developed Sustained engagement through interactive tools
Impact The Cyber Hygiene campaign demonstrates how education, technology, and creative communication can come together to drive behavioral change at scale—positioning AMC Marketing as a key partner in impactful, future-focused public sector initiatives.
